Most of the time you spend during Diablo 4 will be raiding Dungeons. Not only do they contain tons of enemies for XP farming, but plenty of unique rewards. The main prize for completing a Dungeon is an Aspect. For the Maulwood Dungeon, you can earn the Slaking Aspect, exclusive to the Barbarian class. We’ll tell you where to find the Maulwood Dungeon in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4: Maulwood Dungeon location

Luckily, if you’re close to the beginning of the game, you’ll be able to reach this Dungeon easily. Where you’ll find the Maulwood Dungeon in Diablo 4 is just south of Kyovashad, the first major town you discover. The exact location is the Dobrev Taiga area within the Fractured Peaks region. It’s not locked behind any Stronghold, you can just stroll right up and enter.

During this Dungeon, you’re tasked with slaying the Bandit Sentries, which there are six in total. It’ll start you with the first three, then you’ll travel to a new area to kill the last three. The good thing about this Dungeon is how great it is for farming enemies. Since the Bandit Sentries are Elite enemies, they’ll give you more loot than usual. Besides them, they’re surrounded by hoards of other enemies, making this a great Dungeon for farming loot and XP.

But what is the Aspect? If you’re a Barbarian looking for some decent Aspects, this one may pique your interest. The Slaking Aspect is a Legendary Aspect that can attach to Rings. Once applied to your Ring, you’ll have up to a 30-50% chance to gain 20 Fury when Rend deals direct damage to a Bleeding enemy. Rend is a Barbarian skill that cleaves a group of enemies in front of you, which also causes bleeding. The fact that you can nab this pretty decent Aspect early on in Diablo 4 makes the Maulwood Dungeon worth a trip.
